api_key_read_only

HTTP 403, type permission_error.

This API key is read only.

Why it happened​

The key is valid, but it was created without write access, so it can read and cannot change anything.

How to fix it​

Use a full-access key for writes. In the dashboard, under Developers > API keys, create a key with Full access and send it instead. Keep read-only keys for systems that only read.

Retrying: do not retry with this API key. It will not succeed. Send the same request with a full-access key instead: it was refused before its Idempotency-Key was claimed, so the same Idempotency-Key is safe.
