Quickstart

There is one quickstart per integration mode, and they share a skeleton so switching modes is a matter of recognising the same shape: what you will have working, prerequisites, steps with runnable code, verify it worked, make it fail on purpose, go live, and next steps.

The two steps in bold are the ones that are not optional. A quickstart that shows only the happy path produces integrations that break on the first decline, and declines are routine.

Modes:

• Hosted checkout -- the platform hosts the payment page; you redirect.
• Drop-in element -- one mountable component; not available yet.
• Mountable fields -- individual secure fields you place; not available yet.

The two unbuilt modes are plain text rather than links until their pages exist.
